Mind The Gap (What it means in Relationships)

It is really interesting every time the train stops you get the message to mind the gap and in relationships it is a lot more important to be aware of that gap.

Let me explain a little more.  When men are feeling stressed out then need to build up their testosterone and that takes alone time.  This is when we women can start to feel insecure and ask him all sorts of questions (mostly from a place of concern) but what we get from him is most likely not what we really want.

When you know that they are having some time out then it is important for you to find something that is fun for you also.  When 2 people in a relationship have time apart and they are both recharging and feeling good then when they come together they are both feeling good and the relationship can blossom and feel like great fun.

If you don’t mind the gap and go to him feeling insecure and needy then it is very easy to push him away.  He will take anything that you say as criticism because he knows that you are feeling unhappy and at same level he will think that it is aimed at him.

As a simple exercise today grab a piece of paper and think about what makes you feel good.  This morning I went for a long walk along the beach.  The water was sparkling and it felt so good.

Be sure to do something for yourself every day just for the sheer joy of doing it.

I know that you lead a busy life but time taken out of your busy day just because it feels good is so important.  Inspiration is key to you living a great life.  So please give yourself that gift.  You certainly deserve it.
